My name is John Robert George and together with my partner George Welborn we created George and George, Inc. which does business as EngravedToLast.com.  We started back in 1999 with an idea and a belief in our entrepreneurial ability.  Since then we have grown dramatically by listening to and keeping our customers first.  We love what we do and we believe it shows.  

Along the way we have been rewarded unexpectedly with many first hand observations and learnings in different aspects of our business… entrepreneurship, partnership, product personalization (we laser engraved full size baseball bats with personalized messages for all gift and award occasions) and the ever enduring human spirit.  This last one is so unique and special because through the engravings themselves we have been privy to our customers life’s special moments.  Consequently we have learned a great deal about the human spirit that expresses love, friendship, gratitude and the host of other emotions that encompass our daily lives.  Which brings us to our new blog.

We believe it is appropriate, after so many thousands of engravings and interactions with folks from all walks of life and different nations, to share some of the learnings and expertise we have gained with our customers and new friends who take an active interest in life’s lessons.  We want to share our opinions, learnings, perceptions and views on product personalization.  On a periodic basis, as we are able to contact our customers for one-on-one discussions and are given permission to do so, we’ll share the stories behind the engravings.  We’ll do our best to describe the events that led them to our site to engrave a baseball bat(s) to commemorate life’s precious moments.
